BECOMING A TEAM KP MEMBER

To become a member of the Kangaroo Point Cycling Club you can contact our Secretary, Betty Bathersby, on 07 3207 3385 to receive a membership application form or alternatively one can be downloaded "membership form".

There are a number of new membership categories for 2012 which are listed here "membership categories".

More information regarding the details of insurance cover offered by Cycling Australia (CA) can be found here "insurance details".

Once the membership form is filled in and the nominated affiliation fee is paid, the form is signed and stamped by one of our club officials. You are then good to race.

Upon membership you will be issued with a Cycling Australia (CA) licence within 3-4 weeks. Until you receive your card you must take the white paper receipt as proof of your membership to any races you compete in.

Cycling Australia (CA) is the parental body for cycling, while Cycling Queensland (CQ) is the governing body for cycling in this State.

The Affiliation Fee covers your membership to the Kangaroo Point Cycling Club, Cycling Queensland and Cycling Australia for the calendar year and also includes personal accident, and third party insurance which covers you while training and racing.
